Located on a scenic bluff in Pacific Palisades, CA, the Boomerang Residence offers a harmonious blend of dynamic form, engineering, and nature. Meticulously carved out of the ground, the residence maintains a low profile to preserve panoramic views for neighboring homes. Its site-specific shape follows the natural curvature of the road and steep terrain, resulting in a structure organically connected to its environment. The design utilizes the steep incline to create multi-level living spaces that cascade down the bluff, with large windows and open-plan living areas maximizing breathtaking ocean views and natural light.
The exterior finish features travertine stone to ensure durability against coastal elements. Green roofs and landscaped terraces further integrate the home into the bluff, providing additional outdoor living spaces and contributing to the overall eco-friendly design. Inside, the modern, open-concept layout emphasizes clean lines, neutral tones, and high-quality finishes, fostering a sense of spaciousness and fluidity.
