Trousdale Place, situated within the renowned Trousdale Estates neighborhood in Beverly Hills, underwent a renovation and expansion project aimed at enhancing both its aesthetic and functional aspects, while celebrating the iconic California lifestyle and promoting wellness.

Despite encountering stringent city regulations, solutions were devised that not only fulfilled the requirements but also elevated the overall design. The interior spaces were re-imagined to foster a visual and physical connection with the exterior landscaping and panoramic city views. The new entry was envisioned as a captivating centerpiece, characterized by a cantilever 9-foot door framed by frameless glass and a prominent green wall, guiding visitors over a tranquil water feature and into the living spaces, where the breathtaking views are on full display. To anchor the backyard, a detached pool house was added, constructed utilizing interlocking steel moment frames that harmoniously integrate with the environment, fostering a sense of transparency and cohesiveness.  The addition of a lush green wall brings the essence of nature into the interior and cultivates a rejuvenating and healthful atmosphere. This property serves as a model of the seamless convergence of functionality and aesthetic, embodying the epitome of Californian living.
